Accountant

Al-Salayel General Trading and Food Services Company announces the availability of an Accountant position. We are looking for a professional accountant to join our financial team. Essential condition for application: Applicants must have at least 5 years of practical experience in accounting, with actual and prior experience in restaurant accounting and the food and services sector. *No CV will be considered that does not meet this condition* Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, preferably ERP. - Good knowledge of daily entries, reconciliations, and accounts receivable/payable. - Experience in handling sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory. - Ability to prepare and review trial balances and financial reports. - Ability to analyze financial data and detect errors and discrepancies. - Accuracy, commitment, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-branch operational environment. Key Responsibilities: - Recording and reviewing daily accounting operations and entries. - Reviewing daily sales and reconciling them with systems and financial reports. - Following up on purchases, expenses, and accounts receivable/payable. - Monitoring branch accounts and performing necessary reconciliations. - Reviewing inventory movement, conducting physical counts, and analyzing discrepancies. - Preparing periodic financial and administrative reports. - Contributing to the preparation and review of trial balances and financial statements. - Analyzing revenues and expenses and providing necessary data to management. - Ensuring the accuracy of accounting documents and operations and adhering to approved financial procedures. Job Details: Work Location: Baghdad – Karrada / Sahat Al-Hurriya Working Hours: 8 hours daily – 6 days a week Meal provided Salary: To be determined after the interview based on experience and competence.
