Lifting Supervisor

IRON GATE COMPANY (IGC) announces its invitation to qualified and experienced Lifting Supervisors to register in the company's workforce database, for the purpose of evaluating their qualifications and considering their potential nomination for future job opportunities with our clients in the oil and gas sector. Location: Al-Tuwaysa, Olympic Committee Street, Basra, Iraq. Sector: Oil and Gas. Job Title: Lifting Supervisor. Job Requirements: - Proven experience in lifting operations and supervision within the oil and gas sector. - Possess a valid Lifting Supervisor certificate issued by a recognized body. - Previous experience in the Rumaila Oil Field (ROO) or similar oil fields is a significant preferential advantage. - Strong knowledge of Lifting Plans, Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures. - Good understanding of crane positions, ground conditions, load charts, rigging equipment, and safe lifting practices. - Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and Control of Work (CoW) systems. - Ability to supervise crane operators, riggers, and banksmen. - Ability to verify lifting equipment certificates, inspection records, and operational readiness. - Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills. - Proficiency in spoken and written English. - Possession of a valid Safety Passport and relevant safety certificates for working in oil fields is preferred.
