Lighting Designer

Next Light for Modern Lighting Company announces its need for a Lighting Designer to work within its team in Baghdad, male or female. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, or any related field. At least two years of practical experience in lighting design. Proficiency in English, reading and writing. Possess artistic sense and the ability to select and distribute lighting units according to the nature of the project. Required Skills and Software: Proficiency in DIALux evo for lighting design and photometric calculations. Proficiency in RELUX for lighting design and photometric simulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing and reading electrical lighting plans. Knowledge of Revit is an added advantage. Knowledge of 3ds Max and SketchUp for 3D designs and visualizations is an added advantage. Ability to prepare plans for internal and external lighting unit distribution. Perform lux calculations and professional lighting distribution. Prepare lighting reports and select appropriate lighting units according to project requirements. Ability to read architectural and electrical plans and deal with technical specifications of lighting products. Accuracy in work, attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and time management. Work Location: Baghdad – Karrada – Al-Arasat. Working Days: Saturday – Thursday, with Friday off. Working Hours: 8 hours daily, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Salary: Salary will be determined based on experience and competence after the interview, not less than 700 IQD.
