Restaurant Operations & Cost Control Manager

Amali Restaurant – Sulaymaniyah is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager responsible for daily operations, staff, procurement, inventory, sales, and cost control. Responsibilities: • Manage and follow up on the daily operations of the restaurant. • Manage staff, organize shifts, attendance, and leaves. • Prepare and follow up on the weekly and monthly work schedule. • Monitor daily sales and prepare sales reports. • Follow up on daily accounts and coordinate with the cashier and accountant. • Calculate and monitor Food Cost / Recipe Cost / COGS. • Monitor raw material prices and update item costs. • Manage and monitor inventory and daily/weekly stocktaking. • Monitor waste, damaged, and missing items. • Follow up on purchase orders and daily kitchen/restaurant needs. • Deal and negotiate with suppliers and maintain good relationships with them. • Compare supplier prices and choose the best options in terms of price and quality. • Monitor the receipt of materials and ensure quantity and quality. • Use Microsoft Excel to prepare tables, reports, and calculations. • Prepare Daily / Weekly / Monthly reports for management. • Monitor staff performance and resolve operational issues. • Ensure adherence to SOPs, cleanliness, and service quality. • Monitor sales targets and reduce expenses and waste. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant or F&B management. • Actual experience in restaurants within Sulaymaniyah. • Very good knowledge of Excel, calculations, and tables. • Real knowledge of Food Cost, Inventory, and Purchasing. • Experience dealing with suppliers, prices, and procurement. • Experience managing a team of employees. • Organized, practical personality, strong in follow-up and problem-solving. • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions. • Kurdish and Arabic languages are required. • English language is considered an added advantage.
