Accountant

Sabeel Al Rashid Company announces its need for an Accountant to join its team in Baghdad and contribute to supporting financial operations within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Location: Mansour – Baghdad Job Type: Full-time Working Days: Saturday to Thursday Key Responsibilities: • Manage and update the general ledger in accordance with approved accounting standards. • Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) operations. • Record daily financial transactions and perform reconciliations and settlements. • Prepare monthly financial reports and contribute to annual financial closing procedures. • Monitor expenses, ensure completeness of documents, and obtain necessary approvals. • Support internal and external audit requirements. • Ensure compliance with the company's approved financial policies and procedures. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of two years of experience in accounting, preferably within the FMCG sector. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo is a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Strong analytical skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
