Maintenance Engineer (Electrical and Machinery)

A leading engineering company in the iron industries announces its desire to hire an electrical maintenance technician to join its technical team, within a professional work environment that focuses on continuous development and adherence to the highest standards of accuracy and transparency. Tasks and Responsibilities: • Perform periodic and emergency electrical maintenance work in the factory. • Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and quickly. • Maintain and inspect electrical panels, breakers, and switches. • Monitor and maintain electric motors, pumps, and equipment. • Contribute to preventive maintenance of machinery and production lines. • Ensure the safety of electrical connections and wiring. • Adhere to occupational safety procedures and instructions within the factory. • Perform other related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering / Industrial Electronics or equivalent. At least 3 years of practical experience in maintaining industrial equipment (preferably in iron, steel, or metal factories). Practical experience with PLC, control systems, and distribution boards. Good skills in reading electrical diagrams and technical drawings. Ability to work under pressure and work in shifts if necessary. Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Electrical license or occupational safety certificates (if available) are a plus. • Must be a resident of Baghdad / Karkh exclusively (Al-Sidiya / Al-Dora / Abu Dishir / Al-Bayya – Al-Mahmoudiya - Al-Rashid district).
