Logistics Officer

Alwadaq Al-Dhabi General Trading and Commercial Agencies Company announces the availability of a job opportunity to join its team for the position of Logistics Officer, to follow up and organize transportation, shipping, and warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of goods and documents. 🔹 Duties and Responsibilities: - Follow up on loading, unloading, and distribution of goods and shipments. - Follow up on transportation operations and coordinate with shipping and transportation companies. - Manage and follow up on warehouses and organize the entry and exit of goods. - Follow up on inventory and ensure the accuracy of quantities and records. - Organize and archive shipping, transportation, and warehouse documents. - Follow up on shipping documents and ensure their completeness and correctness. - Communicate with shipping companies to obtain the best prices and suitable offers for transportation. - Follow up on shipping and delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival of goods. - Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and transportation companies to ensure the smooth running of operations. - Follow up on logistical problems and delays and work to find appropriate solutions. - Prepare reports related to shipping, transportation, and inventory. 🔹 Requirements and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (Business Administration or a related field). - Previous experience in Logistics / Supply Chain / Transportation, preferably in a commercial environment. - Good knowledge of warehouse management and shipping and transportation operations. - Proficiency in using Odoo system. - Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word and preparing reports. - Good knowledge of shipping documents, invoices, and transportation papers. - Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills with transportation and shipping companies. - Ability to follow up on multiple operations simultaneously and prioritize. - Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Ability to prepare and follow up on daily and weekly reports. 🔹 Job Details: - Job Title: Logistics Officer - Job Type: Full-time - From Saturday to Thursday. - Location: Baghdad - Jamila - Salary is determined based on competence, but not less than 750,000 IQD. 📩 For those interested, please send your CV with the subject line 'Logistics Officer': hr@alwadaq-aldhabi.com Or via WhatsApp to the following number: +964 788 820 22 55 If you are accurate, organized, and passionate, this is your chance to join our team and grow with us.
