Technical Support Officer

The Islamic Iraqi Commercial Bank announces its need for a Technical Support Officer to work within the Information Technology department at the main headquarters. 🔹 Work Location: Baghdad – Al-Saadoun Street 🔹 Required Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of experience Bachelor's degree in one of the following specializations: Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Cybersecurity 🔹 Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provide daily technical support to bank employees regarding computers, printers, and network devices. Diagnose technical hardware and software malfunctions, resolve them, or escalate them when necessary. Support and operate core banking systems and supporting systems. Prepare and configure new computers for users (install operating systems and approved software). Follow up on technical support requests and document them according to approved procedures. Manage user accounts and access privileges in coordination with the specialized team. Ensure system continuity and minimize downtime as much as possible. Adhere to information security policies and banking operational procedures. Coordinate with service providers and external companies for advanced malfunctions. Contribute to routine maintenance and essential backup operations. 🔹 Required Skills: Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows). Basics in networking (LAN/WAN). Good understanding of information security concepts. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. Good communication skills with users.
