Workshop Engineer

GAC Iraq announces an opportunity to join the After-Sales Services team at the Baghdad Maintenance Center. Job Title: Workshop Engineer. 🔧 Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Diagnose technical, mechanical, and electrical faults in vehicles using approved diagnostic equipment. - Follow up and analyze Repeat Repair cases, identify the causes of recurring faults, and implement appropriate corrective actions. - Monitor Technical Bulletins & Campaigns issued by GAC and ensure their correct application. - Manage and follow up on Warranty claims, ensuring compliance with warranty policies and procedures. - Monitor vehicle movement within the workshop and organize workflow from vehicle reception to repair completion. - Follow up on work orders and ensure their completion according to priorities and deadlines. - Coordinate between Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts & Warranty to ensure smooth workflow. - Ensure final inspection is completed and work orders are closed before vehicle delivery. - Prepare daily reports related to workshop performance and work order status. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Previous experience in automotive workshops, technical diagnostics, warranty, or after-sales services. - Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
