HR Coordinator

A company operating in the construction, transportation, and logistics sectors is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of HR Coordinator. We are looking for a competent and well-organized HR Coordinator to support and coordinate the company’s human resources functions, work closely with senior management, and ensure that HR policies, procedures, and employee-related processes are properly implemented across operational projects. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and support the HR Department and follow up on daily HR activities. Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures consistently. Coordinate recruitment, sourcing, screening, interviews, and selection processes. Follow up on employee contracts, onboarding, renewals, resignations, and termination procedures. Coordinate payroll, attendance, leave records, and timesheets with relevant departments. Support the implementation and follow-up of employee performance appraisal systems. Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, escalating matters when required. Ensure compliance with company policies, Iraqi labor laws, and relevant regulations. Maintain and update organizational charts, job descriptions, and authority matrices. Prepare periodic HR reports, employee data, and HR performance indicators for management. Improve and standardize onboarding and exit processes. Support workforce planning and HR-related decisions in coordination with senior management. Maintain accurate employee records, both hard copy and electronic, with full confidentiality. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources; experience in construction, transportation, or logistics companies is preferred. Practical experience in recruitment, employee relations, contracts, attendance, payroll follow-up, and personnel administration. Good knowledge of Iraqi labor law and employee affairs procedures. Experience in HR systems, employee files, social security, and payroll coordination is preferred. Very good command of English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Able to manage multiple tasks, employees, and projects simultaneously. Professional, confidential, organized, and able to work effectively under pressure.
