Field Photographer (Videographer / Camera Operator)

Iraq 24 is looking for a professional field photographer to join its news team, contributing to the production of television coverage and reports with high visual and professional standards. The photographer will work within the editorial and production team to cover news, events, and interviews from the field, transforming the journalistic story into clear, accurate, and impactful visual material, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and changing news environment. Responsibilities: Filming news, field reports, interviews, events, and conferences. Working directly with reporters, producers, and editorial teams to fulfill coverage requirements. Selecting appropriate angles, compositions, and lighting to serve the journalistic story. Ensuring image quality and adherence to the channel's technical and visual standards. Preparing and operating filming equipment and monitoring its readiness before and during field assignments. Responding quickly to breaking news and working efficiently in various filming conditions. Adhering to accuracy, professionalism, and journalistic ethics during coverage. Qualifications and Experience: At least 2-3 years of practical experience in television or field journalism photography. Proficiency in using broadcast-grade cameras and field production equipment (lighting, sound, Gimbal/Stabilizer). Strong knowledge of visual composition, lighting, exposure, and camera movement. Ability to make quick visual decisions in field work environments. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. It is preferable to attach a Portfolio or Showreel (Vimeo/YouTube/Google Drive link) showcasing previous work samples. Salary and Benefits: A competitive salary, determined based on the candidate's years of experience and actual skill level, will be discussed transparently during the interview stage. Work System: Daily 8-hour shifts, with the possibility of working morning or evening shifts according to the work system and newsroom needs. Contract Type and Probationary Period: 3 months.
