Quality Control Officer (QC Officer)

Taawon Company announces the availability of a job vacancy in the Al-Bayya branch – Baghdad to join our team with the following title: Job Title: Quality Control Officer (QC Officer) Key Responsibilities: Conduct periodic inspection tours within the branch to ensure compliance with quality standards and product safety. Inspect products and ensure their validity, packaging integrity, storage conditions, and handling methods. Monitor temperatures and storage conditions for products requiring refrigeration or freezing. Ensure the application of hygiene, health, and food safety standards in related departments. Inspect fresh products such as meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, and fruits, and ensure they meet quality standards. Identify damaged, expired, or non-compliant products and take necessary actions. Document non-compliance cases and prepare quality reports, submitting them to the relevant management. Follow up on corrective actions and ensure that observations and violations are addressed. Collaborate with different branch departments to resolve quality issues and improve adherence to standards. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and approved quality instructions. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Food Sciences, Food Technology, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. Practical experience of 1 to 3 years in quality or quality control. Experience in hypermarkets, retail sector, food, or FMCG companies is preferred. Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, storage, and handling principles. High ability to observe and detect non-compliance cases. Ability to work in the field and conduct inspection tours within the branch. Commitment, accuracy, and responsibility.
